Destiny was born in Bras Polaires and spent most of primary school there before moving to Vitraux with her family. In secondary school, she met and befriended Alexis de la Rosaleda, who may as well have been another brother of hers with how often he was at her house. He followed her to the track and field club, where she worked her way up to captain of the cross country team during tertiary and won about every local accolade she could get her hands on. Unfortunately, at the end of her second year of tertiary, her family moved back to Bras Polaires. As happy as she was to be back, she was sad to leave her best friend and the name she'd built for herself behind.
Her year back home inspired a specific interest in wildlife preservation, leading to her eventual application to Del Sol College's plant and wildlife sciences department. She was quickly accepted and excited to overthrow the cross country team–er, that is, perhaps go on runs with the track club members–and then quickly discovered her childhood friend had coincidentally ended up at the same school. Her evil plans of harassing him into running with her before the sun rose in the mornings quickly came to fruition, and now all she had to do was figure a way to get him off her case about that guy in her department she thought was kinda cute.
