Born to a Vitrauxan mother and Lakamhan father, Alexis's life in Vitraux started happily enough. Shortly after his younger brother's birth, however, he began showing signs of his maternal family's bloodline curse and was consequently shunned by his mother. Despite his father's best efforts to keep his childhood a happy one, his mother attempted to abandon him in her maiden family's chateau (designated as holding chambers for the family's curse victims centuries ago) on his fifth birthday to likely be killed by the previous generation's curse victim. His father managed to rescue him, but disappeared soon after.

In secondary school, Alexis befriended Destiny Auclair and quickly began spending more time at the Auclair residence than his own home. Unfortunately, two years before he and Destiny were slated to graduate from tertiary, the Auclairs moved back to their hometown, leaving Alexis alone for his third year.

A quiet hint from his father before he'd disappeared brought Alexis to his father's alma mater, Del Sol College, for his fourth year research project. With only a vague decade-old clue guiding him, he applied with a throwaway project that kept him on campus and free to investigate in his spare time. What secrets lie buried in the heart of this campus?
